Who are you really working for? The Contractor (2022) - Review

Writer: Dan BrooksDan Brooks

Updated: Apr 8, 2022

A discharged U.S. Special Forces sergeant, James Harper, risks everything for his family when he joins a private contracting organization.

This one was not what I was expecting. Chris Pine is usually in intense action movies and this one is a little more subdued. It deals with a lot of the stress and issues soldiers have coming back from their wars and trying to get integrated back into society. PTSD and lack of skills make a lot of them go into private security and this highlights some of those issues with trying to stop the bad guys in the process. Be prepared for a slower pace than you are used to with Pine's movies but it is still worth checking out for some of the challenges he faces.
