Following his release from prison, mafia capo Dwight "The General" Manfredi is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he builds a new criminal empire with a group of unlikely characters.
Sly Stallone tries his hand at being a bad guy. Maybe an anti-hero is more of a correct description. Filling the hole the Sopranos left, this new show is all about the gangster lifestyle in the present time. Sly does a great job playing a mobster that is just getting out of jail and trying to understand the world that now exists. Funny scenarios about woke life and things that were once crimes that are now legal make this refreshing to watch. Sly does not hold back on his opinions, and I am interested to see how far this will go before there is pushback. This one will take a few episodes to build up the tension but it's getting good. Worth a watch if you liked Sopranos or Better Call Saul.
