In this latest installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, Cipher enlists the help of Jakob, Dom's younger brother to take revenge on Dom and his team while chasing after a weapon that will change the world as we know it.
Ok, check all your baggage at the door before starting this movie. Logic, physics, common sense all are not a reality in the Fast and Furious universe. This is the wackiest silliest over the top sequel in the ongoing billion-dollar franchise of Fast and Furious. Along with the endless races and party girls that are dancing in slow motion for no reason, are over-the-top stunts that would leave mere mortals paralyzed or dead. Blend in some returning characters thought deceased, and the endless pushing of Family above all else and you have a recipe for the franchise to keep pumping out a movie every year until the actors want to stop being paid to make them. Now that I have all that out of the way, I still found this movie very entertaining. It is so far away from reality, that I was able to just enjoy the distraction without trying to believe it was real. THIS IS TRUE HOLLYWOOD FANTASY and I love it. It was really nice to be back in the theatre again to watch a movie the way it was intended. On the big screen. Enjoy the nonsense of this movie. Shut off your brain and go along forRanking the ride.
