A young girl discovers a secret map to the dreamworld of Slumberland, and with the help of an eccentric outlaw, she traverses dreams and flees nightmares, with the hope that she will be able to see her late father again.
What a great family movie. This is the kind of movie I remember watching on a Sunday afternoon from Disney when I was growing up. This crazy adventure is the kind of imagination and distraction we need right now from a crazy world. It's not hard to figure out, but the silliness of some of the situations and the heartwarming feeling you have at the end is what family movies are all about. It talks about tough topics like death, in a way that gets through to younger audiences while still entertaining everyone. I liked this one. Give it a watch and you will not be disappointed. Well done Netflix.
