The first generation of superheroes has kept the world safe for nearly a century. Now their children must live up to their legacy in an epic drama that spans decades and navigates the dynamics of family, power, and loyalty.
In an already saturated market of superhero movies and tv shows, Netflix has decided to try and create a new franchise. With all-new stories, there needs to be a building of backstory and character development. This first season seemed like that’s all they were wanting to do. In that vein, this was a little disappointing as the audience is hoping for bigger battles or at least I was. Marvel and DC have spoiled viewers for the past 20 years, and Netflix has a ways to go to catch up. Hopefully, this is not a one-and-done, as Netflix has proven to do in the past. Looking forward there is a lot they could do with this show. Hopefully, the fans will keep this one going. Let me know what you think of it.
