The pitfalls of War - Transfusion (2023) - Review

A former Special Forces operative thrust into the criminal underworld to keep his only son from being taken from him.

PTSD is a pretty nasty animal. The trauma that soldiers go through is often misunderstood and makes desperate men act in ways an everyday man would not. This movie explores some of those triggers and sets the story with two broken men, handling the PTSD in their own way. One night changes everything. This is a slower burn movie. Takes about an hour to really settle into the story so give it a chance. It has some powerful scenes. I was surprised. Be ready for an emotional male journey. It has some action but is not an action movie so be prepared. Be interested to hear your thoughts if you give it a chance.
