Well, the long wait is over and I have to say I think they overthought this one. Trying to create a new start for the next big phase of Marvel, this movie was way too long and the characters were not ones that you were given a chance to appreciate or even build up a way to care about. Phase one of the Marvel universe gave us a chance to build up relationships with the heroes before uniting them in a battle against one huge enemy. This movie tried to do all of that story arc in one movie and it did not leave you caring about any of the characters. I know that the next few movies coming out will help us understand how the next phase (4) will progress now that we have most of the main heroes dispersed or dead. Building up relationships with the audience is key to having this next part be successful. So far I am trying to be patient. The movie is well made and has some great fight scenes, but you could cut out a half hour and wouldn't miss it. What did you think?
