The Lambs are getting louder - Clarice (2021) Series

"Clarice" offers a deep dive into the untold personal story of FBI Agent Clarice Starling as she returns to the field in 1993, one year after the events of "The Silence of the Lambs." Brilliant and vulnerable, Clarice's bravery gives her an inner light that draws monsters and madmen to her. However, her complex psychological makeup that comes from a challenging childhood empowers her to begin to find her voice while working in a man's world, as well as escape the family secrets that have haunted her throughout her life.

Here is a great new rediscovering of a character from the Silence of the Lambs movie. Clarice Starling continues her journey as a new FBI Agent after the Buffalo Bill investigation from the movie. She is trying to come to grips with what it did to her emotionally, while being an effective agent in the field. This show, only 5 episodes in, has a similar feel to Criminal Minds or Law and Order, in chasing down horrific evil people while examining how it costs the agents involved a little bit of their souls each time they climb into the mind of these crazed killers. I did enjoy the throw backs to the movie and how they did a pretty good job casting someone that could continue the subtle neurotic acting cue that Jodie Foster had in the movie. If you like crime dramas, add it to your list to check out. Let me know if you like it.
