The Burning Sea (2022) - Review

An oil platform dramatically goes down on the Norwegian coast, and researchers try to find out what happened when they realize this is just the start of something even more serious.

Ocean drilling scares the crap out of me. With so many things that can go wrong with drilling on land adding in the uncertainty of the ocean is not making a bad situation better. Oil spills are terrifying and that is why movies like this are to open our eyes to what is possible if we do not take the proper precautions. This scary look into what could happen is sobering. With a cast full of Norwegian actors this one really makes you think if its a good idea to drill like this. Some of the English dubbing was annoying at times but I liked this one much more than I thought I would. Its worth a watch on a rainy weekend.
