Swing and a miss - The 2nd (2020) - Review

Special forces agent Vic Davis is on his way to pick up his estranged son, Sean, from his college campus when he finds himself in the middle of a high-stakes terrorist operation. His son's friend Erin Walton, the daughter of Supreme Court Justice Walton is the target, and this armed faction will stop at nothing to kidnap her and use her as leverage for a pending landmark legal case.

It is hard for me to see Ryan Philippe as a special forces veteran, but after you get by that this movie still has some things that make it tough to recommend. The acting is very "B" movieish and the villains all seem to be just props for the heroes to dispose of along the way. This seems like one to avoid, but if you like predictable and hollow story lines, and need 90 mins to kill, load this one up. Otherwise save your life and skip this one.

Best line of the movie:

3 people can keep a secret......if 2 of them are dead.

Ranking 4.5/10
