Sunday afternoon fantasy - The King's Daughter (2022) - Review

King Louis XIV's quest for immortality leads him to capture and steal a mermaid's life force, a move that is further complicated by his illegitimate daughter's discovery of the creature.

This is a cute fantasy adventure movie that reminds me of something that Disney would bring out. It has its moments of charm, but nothing surprising here. What you anticipate will happen does happen, and the story plays out rather boringly. This movie would be good for tweens. It's a good Sunday afternoon distraction.
