Rebuilding a franchise - Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) - Review

The people of Wakanda fight to protect their home from intervening world powers as they mourn the death of King T'Challa.

This movie surprised me. The self-contained story was fantastic and did not need any connection to the MCU universe except for some links back to the first Black Panther movie. I was impressed with the story arc and the struggle of the main characters. MCU fans will be happy they are setting up scenarios for future movies which is exciting. It's a long movie so get prepared before starting to watch this one or you will be running to the washroom halfway through. I was initially worried about this one with the death of the main actor from the first movie. I was concerned it would not have a good enough story to find a replacement. What I was impressed the most about the way the story went was the conflict to find the next hero. This is a must-watch if you like Marvel movies. It was very well done. Let me know what your thoughts are.
