This new Star Trek show is exactly the types of stories I have been waiting for from this franchise. The bleak and desperate state of the Federation. I always thought the vision of Gene Roddenberry's future was too perfect. I believe the future would be messy and scary, and Star Trek Discovery definitely pushes closer to that view.
I am super excited to get season three going and it starts in a few weeks. October 15th.
If you are not already watching this show, we might need to re-examine our friendship :)
