In Marvel Studios' action-packed spy thriller "Black Widow," Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
It's been a long time coming, and I have to say, I think Disney could have used the time to help this one out a little more than it did. As a standard action flick, this one is pretty good. To the level of the Marvel Universe, this one is not near the top of the list by far. It had lots of little things for the fans but could have tied into the bigger MCU universe a little more than it did. There were some cheesy one-liners that I would have expected in a DC movie. All in all, if you are a Marvel fan you will see it no matter what but with all the hype for the past 2 years, I would have expected a little more from the Disney teams. The end credit scene poses some interesting things to come and ties in the Disney TV shows to the movies in another way. Interested to see where that little subplot goes. As usual, let me know your thoughts.
