After an experimental gene therapy turns them into monsters, three twenty-somethings band together to hunt down the scientist responsible and force him to make them human again.
In this young adult anxt mutant superhero show, Hollywood takes another crack at a bunch of unlikely heroes that are forced together to solve why they are the way they are. With an underlying conspiracy organization that are out to conquer the world this one is not too terrible, but needs some development of the characters before we care about what happens to them. The first season has a lot of whining and complaining and accidental success on the road to solving their mystery. Reminds me of Buffy the Vampire slayer with gimmicky scenarios that would be easily solved with a sniper and some patience. Will be interested to see if this one makes it to a second season to explore a little more about the backstory and develop the characters. Until then it will just be a passing fancy for a Sunday afternoon.
