Six people unwillingly find themselves locked in another series of escape rooms, slowly uncovering what they have in common to survive. Joining forces with two of the original survivors, they soon discover they've all played the game before.

In a direct sequel to the first Escape Room movie, this one picks up right after the first. You do not need to see the first one to see this one, they do a good job getting you caught up at the start, but this one was a little underwhelming for me. I would have thought for a group of champions, they would have been better at solving the clues and staying alive longer. This seemed like they just wanted to show ingenious ways to kill people in an elaborate maze of deadly games. If you like these thriller movies they will do the job and entertain you for 100 minutes, but they missed an opportunity to crank up the intensity by having a group that should have been better at solving things. The plot tried to explain it away but I think it would have been better to see these smart young people thrive in the pressure cooker for a while before meeting their demises. Let me know your thoughts.
