After a remote diamond mine collapses in far northern Canada, a ‘big-rig" ice road driver must lead an impossible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the trapped miners.
Liam is at it again. One of the hardest-working actors in Hollywood it seems, cranking out another Action Thriller where he gets angry and enacts some revenge. This one is out in the cold on the Ice Roads of Canada. Typical grimacing and groaning Liam becomes the unsung hero once again saving things in the nick of time. This one was better than some of his past movies but not as good as others he has done. I do like him in the hero role, but he is getting older now, and seems unlikely that he would be able to stand toe to toe with some of the bad guys in this movie. There were some plot holes and times you were thinking they made things much more difficult than they had to, but it was still entertaining enough to watch. I love Laurence Fishburne in almost everything he has been in, so it was nice to see him in a small role as well. All in all, it's worth a watch if you like Liam's cookie-cutter action hero movies. Shout out to the main villain who was like the energizer bunny in this one.
