When 11-year-old Leo Thompson (Seth Carr) discovers a magical wrestling mask that grants him super strength, he uses it to enter a WWE competition. With the support of his grandmother (Tichina Arnold), Leo will do whatever it takes to achieve his dream of becoming a WWE Superstar. Can one kid win it all, in the face of epic challengers in the ring? Directed by Jay Karas, THE MAIN EVENT co-stars Adam Pally, Ken Marino, and features WWE Superstars Kofi Kingston, The Miz and Sheamus.

This is a great little family movie. I thought is was a familiar idea wrapped up in a new delivery but was entertaining being told in a new way. It can be corny sometimes to watch these ones, but it is good to remember what its like to be a kid every now and then. Kids dream of being bigger and better than they are. Over the course of this story they discover that their strength does not come from magic, but it comes from within. If you have a wrestling fan that dreams of becoming a star, this one is worth a watch.
