Just one bite will do - Peninsula (2020) - Review

Peninsula takes place four years after the zombie outbreak in Train to Busan. The Korean peninsula is devastated and Jung Seok, a former soldier who has managed to escape overseas, is given a mission to go back and unexpectedly meets survivors.

I have been waiting for this one for a while. After the breakout hit Train to Busan I was wondering how the story would progress. Filled with a lot of the same horrifying zombie attacks in the first move Peninsula is a great follow up story. You do not need to have seen the original to follow the story line, but for fans, its good to see the next chapter in this universe. Filled with lots of themes from Asian imports this one is another great thrill ride of adrenaline and near misses. The drama in the scenes with children can sometimes be over the top, but in the end I enjoyed this one as much as the first movie. Would love to see a dubbed version as one of the only drawbacks to this movie was having to read the subtitles. I would definitely recommend for any zombie movie loving fan.
