A shy, introverted, Chinese-American, straight-A student finds herself helping the school jock woo the girl they both secretly love. In the process, each teaches the other about the nature of love as they find connection in the most unlikely of places.
This is a teenage coming of age movie in the likes of "Some kind of wonderful" or "Roxanne". We have someone that is in love, but just cant speak to the person they adore, and we have someone that is gifted in writing come to their rescue and write all the correspondence to help them start a relationship. Told with a new age twist, this movie had some very good parts. It was slower then I would have liked, but it had some very relatable and heart warming moments. The casting was brilliant, as you fell in love with some of the characters. Give it a watch and let me know what you think.
