I feel the need for speed - Top Gun : Maverick (2022) - Review

After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy's top aviators, Pete Mitchell is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him.

If you take the right amount of cheesy nostalgia and aerial combat you get this movie. For the Top Gun fans that have been waiting almost 4 decades for a sequel, this one does a pretty good job of satisfying everyone. The only parts I found annoying were the hair dye and the stomach sucking that Tom did try to show he is still young and can run with the next generation of heartthrobs on screen. Tom, you are almost 60, and the little intro to the movie you gave before it started showed your age, and then when we see you in the movie, you look 20 years younger with all that dye. Just embrace it, sir. The fans still love you. This one is well worth a watch for sure. Tom will always be the true Hollywood hero actor. This role was made for him and it suits him perfectly. Check it out and let me know what you thought. The one guessing game I have for you is trying to figure out what nation the bad guys they are fighting are from? Good luck guessing.
