I don't seem to remember - Memory (2022) - Review

An assassin-for-hire finds that he's become a target after he refuses to complete a job for a dangerous criminal organization. A remake of the 2003 Belgian film 'The Memory of a Killer'.

I like being surprised by movies that I thought would have been predictable. Liam Neeson usually plays the action hero revenge genre pretty well, and I was expecting that kind of movie. A flawed hero with a bone to pick with some bad guys. This one gave me a little bit of a surprise as Liam is not the main hero in this movie. Guy Pearce fills that role, and Liam is the bad guy. I liked how this role gave Liam some room to show the dark side while still being vulnerable in fighting off Alzheimer's. It has an ending you dont see coming but fits the story well when you examine it afterward. Gdon'tive this one a watch, you will not be disappointed.
