In the style of SciFi horror movies like "The Thing," this Russian movie has some very gross and messed up creature special effects. It has some tense scenes and some scenes that were almost corny. Breaking quarantine protocols and procedures and everyone being screwed in the first 5 mins aside, it was still a decent SciFi horror. I always love how in these movies the contagion always seems to get out at the end. How else can you have sequels? This one for sure has one of those endings. If you are one to not be grossed out too easily then give it a watch and let me know your thoughts.
