A live-action prequel to the 101 Dalmations film following a young Cruella Devil.
Disney has started a new tradition of spinning off the villains of their animated movies to create a wider universe of some of its animated titles. 101 Dalmations villian Cruella is the next in the making. I think this movie is pretty good. There were some parts that I didn't like. I really hate when movies use CGI animals when the real ones would be so much better. There are a few scenes where you can tell the CGI animation was poorly done, but that was minor when judging the movie. They did a great job with humor and storytelling, but this movie is not really kid-friendly. It caters to an older crowd, teenagers and up, so if you plan on watching with your kids, you may find them not enjoying it as much as you are. Emma Stone and Emma Roberts did a fantastic job playing horrible people. They nailed it. Of course, they set up perfectly for the 101 Dalmations story to be made next. Give it a watch and let me know your thoughts.
