Happily ever after has a cost - Happily (2021) - Review

Writer: Dan BrooksDan Brooks

After 14 years of marriage, Tom and Janet still can't keep their hands off each other. When they discover their friends are resentful of their constant public displays of affection, the couple start to question the loyalty of everyone around them. Then, a visit from a mysterious stranger thrusts them into an existential crisis, leading to a dead body, a lot of questions and a very tense vacation.

What a dark and interesting romantic comedy. This one was a puzzle to me. Was I suppose to laugh or try to figure this one out? I found myself doing both, but in the end I was not really sure of the point of this one. It left you with a feeling of confusion, and unfinished story lines. I did find the dark humor entertaining, but was not sure this one was really worth my time in the end. If you do end up watching it, let me know what you thought the point of this one was....I am still pondering that.
