In early 1990s Boston, ADA Decourcy Ward forms an unlikely alliance with a corrupt venerated FBI veteran, Jackie Rohr. Together, they take on a case that changes the city's entire criminal justice system.
If you ever watched the "Law and Order" franchise and can tolerate what would have been all the seedy underbelly exposure to crime that may have been cut out of that show, this is where it would have ended up. Set in the early '90s this gritty drama exposes how every character has a dark side that they will be willing to use to get what they need or want. Everyone on the show is willing to compromise to get the job done....some more than others. Kevin Bacon plays a sinister agent that is so grimy and dirty it's hard to tell he is a FBI agent. This show is produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, and I am continually impressed by their worrk behind the scenes more so than when they act. This one has a lot of swearing sex and violence so be pre-warned. I liked it. Let me know what you think.
