Empty is right - The Empty Man (2020) - Review

On the trail of a missing girl, an ex-cop comes across a secretive group attempting to summon a terrifying supernatural entity.

This one had so much untapped potential it was torture to watch. Did you ever have a movie that had a hold of you, twisting and turning getting you eager for the reveal only to be let down so hard? This is that movie in a nutshell. I needed to know how it ended, only to be so disappointed that I had wasted my time for such a ridiculous end. You need to do much better 20th Century Studios, starting with updating your logo in the opening credits. That should have been a red flag right away. This supernatural crime story should be skipped unless you like shallow quick wrap endings that leave an open story and confusion.
