Emotional gem - Space Oddity (2022) - Review

A man seeks the help from an insurance company to plan a one-way trip to Mars.

Hey there movie buffs! I just got back from watching the new drama film, "Space Oddity," and I have to say, it really tugged at my heartstrings.

Starring Kyle Allen, Alexandra Shipp, Madeline Brewer, Kevin Bacon, and Simon Helberg, "Space Oddity" tells the story of a family that is torn apart by tragedy. The loss of a brother and son drives a wedge between them, and when one of them is offered the opportunity to go on a one-way trip to Mars, it only exacerbates the rift.

This movie deals with more than just the idea of space travel. It's a deeper story about how to deal with loss, and how sometimes we make choices that could break us apart. It's hard to know if you could make a choice to make a one-way trip to another planet, but "Space Oddity" explores that idea in a touching and thought-provoking way.

The cast really brought their A-game, with standout performances from Kyle Allen and Alexandra Shipp.

Overall, "Space Oddity" is a charming drama that will leave you contemplating life's big questions. If you're in the mood for the feels, this is definitely a movie to check out. So grab some tissues, because you won't want to miss this one.
