Down but not out - The Old Man (2022) Series - Review

A former CIA officer, who's living off the grid, finds himself on the run from people who want to kill him.

Jeff Bridges has always been a favorite actor of mine. Ever since Star Man and Tron, he has been on my radar and I have loved most of his work. In this one, he plays an aging ex-CIA agent that is targeted for termination, and he has something to say about that. The first two episodes are out and they are pretty good. The pace is slow at first but there is a chess match building with Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow. I love the fact that this stubborn older man can still hang with the black ops agents sent to kill him, but he pays the price in bruises and broken bones. Something that I hate, is when the hero doesn't take any punishment from the bad guys. Heroes are beaten up and spent at the end of a good action movie or show. This one is true to that need of mine. Will be interested to see where this one goes.

Ranking so far 7.5/10
