Two low-level astronomers must go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy planet Earth while the government and the media deny its existence.
Every once and a while you get a movie that tells the truth about the state of the country in a funny way that when you truly examine the idea, is profoundly scary. This movie is that statement for 2021. In a year where we are being told by the media to ignore what we are seeing with our own eyes, this movie takes that theme to a ridiculuos end. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Tongue-in-cheek comedy that mirrors all too perfectly how most of us feel about life today. A star-studded cast in this one, where it seems most of Hollywood is eager to poke fun at the government and the media. Sign me up, please. This one has some hidden comedy mixed in with the credits so make sure you watch all the way. I am interested to hear your thoughts on this one.
