Deep in the Dovre mountain, something gigantic wakes up after a thousand years in captivity. The creature destroys everything in its path and quickly approaches Oslo.
More great international content coming from Netflix. Taken from Norwegian folklore, this one is pretty good. The special effects are wonderful and it brings this story to life. The English dubbing is sometimes funny with the translation but it does not take away from the movie. I got huge Gozilla vibes as the storylines are very similar. A large creature, getting scientists to come to examine the wreckage, and then the military trying to destroy what they don't understand. Pretty standard plot. It's not breaking new ground, but it was entertaining to watch it play out even if there were no real surprises. There is an end-credit scene so be sure to watch for it.
