Black ops turns bad - Agent Game (2022) - Review

Updated: Apr 8, 2022

A CIA officer finds himself the target of a rendition operation after being scapegoated for the death of an interrogation subject.

In a reuniting of stars Mel Gibson and Jason Isaacs, this movie is a little different from their first pairing "the Patriot". Agent Game is a movie of double-crosses triple-crosses and clean slate missions where everyone is targeted for elimination. Try to follow who the good guys are in this one and it will make your head spin. With an ending that leaves you less than satisfied, this movie was pretty solid from start to almost end. Set up for a sequel I am hoping we get some closure on this one as it had some good parts for sure. Mel is looking older and looks to be moving into the man behind the curtain roles in the last few movies he has been in. With so many A-list celebrities sliding into second-tier movie roles it makes you wonder what is happening in Hollywood. I hope Mel can climb back to greatness after being shunned but he has some do. The Passion of the Christ 2 might just be his salvation. Time will tell.
