Advice sometimes comes from the most unlikely places - Maybe I do (2023) - Review

Michelle and Allen are in a relationship. They decide to invite their parents to finally meet about marriage. Turns out, the parents already know one another well, which leads to some differing opinions about marriage.

A charming romantic comedy about the toughness of falling in love and getting married with the added chaos of the parents of the bride and groom caught up in a strange love square. No matter how old Richard Gere gets he still seems to maintain his swagger. The guy just has that charisma that everyone likes. William H Macy steals the show with his glib one liners and Susan Sarandon shows why she is the queen of the Diva's in her over the top performance of the detached wife on the prowl. Its sad that this story about the break up of two marriages is the catalyst of a new marriage, but it somehow pulls it off. Its an entertaining look how even the most broken people still crave love even if they look for it in all the wrong places. Worth a watch.
