In a true story reenactment, this one was a sleeper surprise for me. John Boyega is turning into quite the rising star. Most known for his role in the latest Star Wars Trilogy, John has cemented his dramatic acting with this performance. I can see shades of Denzel Washington in his reenactment. This one has lots of crossover connections with John Q, a movie Denzel starred in a few years back. Tells the story of how far some people are pushed with their station in life and what they will do to be heard. The fact that it is a true story, makes this movie even more powerful. Worth a look.
