On a post-apocalyptic earth, a robot, built to protect the life of his creator's beloved dog, learns about life, love, friendship, and what it means to be human.
Another strong performance from Tom Hanks in a movie where he stars alone with a robot and a dog. I was surprised in this one that provoked an emotional response from me over a dog. Maybe I am getting softer in my old age, but I found that you could really relate to Hanks in this one. Trying to prepare for the future knowing he might not be a part of it. It sounds like it would be a boring idea, but trust me in that you will be sucked in right away. Apple TV has been known in the past to drag out some of their storytelling, but this one held my attention all the way through. Should check it out, and let me know what you think.
